US Army - RDECOM
The Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) established the U.S. Army Research, Development & Engineering Command (RDECOM), as a new major subordinate command within AMC. This new command will restructure core in-house capabilities now so we can fully exploit the enormous potential that resides in research activities around the world. RDECOM will respond rapidly by integrating, maturing and demonstrating emerging technologies to field the right equipment, in the shortest time, for our Soldiers.  

US Navy - Office of Naval Research
The Office of Naval Research (ONR) coordinates, executes, and promotes the science and technology programs of the United States Navy and Marine Corps through schools, universities, government laboratories, and nonprofit and for-profit organizations. It provides technical advice to the Chief of Naval Operations and the Secretary of the Navy and works with industry to improve technology manufacturing processes.
