Benjamin Lobo


Bio
Ben joined the PTL in 2013 and brings his operations research and systems analysis & optimization background to PTL projects.

Prior to joining the PTL Ben worked as an Industrial Engineer for the U.S. Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD (October 2011 - October 2013). His main projects were providing maintenance analyses (via discrete event simulation) for the Army Test & Evaluation Center and building a decision support tool for fuel planners at the Combined Arms Support Command (a discrete event simulation-optimization model coded in Python).

Ben received his Master of Operations Research degree (2008) and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (2011) from North Carolina State University.
